Technical Services for both Government authorities, Public and Private bodies
From the 12th Sept. to 14th Sept. 2024 VGS performed an RTK GPS survey over 12.5km of VTE Mekong River foreshore at 10 random locations. This data clearly indicates the rise of the Mekong to the peak of the flood. The Data is available to 'anybody' for FREE however, the data was mainly created as a gesture for Private and Government authorities who are currently working on Flood Mitigation projects and river bank protection. Interested parties may apply to sirpbs@yahoo.com for a small excel file and a .kml Google Earth file for the locations. NOTE These measurements are based on the Lao National Vertical Datum which is Mean Sea Level at Hon Dau Vietnam and is NOT related to the MRC/DMH estimated river levels
VGS Support the Annual Charity Run! - 20 Oct 2022
VGS joined and support the annual charity run by the Team We Run project this year. The “385KM Run For Children, run from Vientiane to Luang Prabang”.Apart from donating to the course, one of VGS’s employees also joined the event as the supporting runner, running from Vientiane to Luang Prabang. The project aims to raise funds for the Lao Friendship Hospital for Children which is the only hospital in the north of Laos that provides free medical care to any children under 15 years old

On the eve of International Women's Day, VGS presented to the 16 Nurses and Surgeons of the Urology Wing of Mahosot Hospital in Vientiane, new Uniforms to match their new Hospital surroundings.
