VGS has won 3 ASEAN Business Awards Laos 2022! (ABA 2022)
ABA has been established in 2016 and it has been awarded to various entrepreneurs for their outstanding achievements, they have all made significant contributions to business operations and human resource development. The awards ceremony was held on 30 March and was attended by the Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Saleumxay Kommasith, the Minister of Industry and Commerce Mr Malaythong Kommasith, the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, Dr Sisouk Vongvichit, the President of the LNCCI, Mr Oudet Souvannavong, the German Ambassador to Laos, Ms Annette Knobloch, and representatives of the development partners of Laos.
In two consecutive years VGS has won, yet again, this distinguished award. The three awards that were presented to VGS staff for 2022 are;:

VGS Drone Show 2023
Vientiane GEOMATIC Services Sole Co., Ltd (VGS) held its first “Aerial Drone Show” on the afternoon of 27 Jan 2023. This event was mainly held to demonstrate and explain to the Department of Waterway (DoW), and the Ministry of Public Works & Transportation (MPWT) how unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or so-called “Drone” was used during the “Unmanned Aerial Surveys of Vientiane and Luang Prabang” under the “Lao PDR Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Management Project” project funded by the World Bank trust fund provided by the Japanese Government.
VGS joined and support the annual charity run by the Team We Run project this year. The “385KM Rund For Children, run from Vientiane to Luang Prabang”. Apart from donating to the course, one of VGS’s employees also joined the event as the supporting runner, running from Vientiane to Luang Prabang. The project aims to raise funds for the Lao Friendship Hospital for Children which is the only hospital in the north of Laos that provides free medical care to any children under 15 years old”

On the eve of International Women's Day, VGS presented to the 16 Nurses and Surgeons of the Urology Wing of Mahosot Hospital in Vientiane, new Uniforms to match their new Hospital surroundings.

VGS receiving of TWO (2) ASEAN Business Awards at the ASEAN Award presentations which were held at Crowne Plaza on the night of 4th Feb 2022. The awards that VGS received are SME Excellence - Digital Transformation Award and Special Award for Green Enterprise.
